Dr. Kalaitzandonakes Presents in South Korea Lauren Jackson 10/20/06 The International Society for Biosafety Research held it's 9th International Symposium on the Biosafety of Genetically Modified Organisms on Jeju Island, South Korea September 24-29, 2006. The theme for the meeting was "Biosafety Research and Environmental Risk Assessment." The ISBGMO explored the relationship between biosafety research and environmental risk assessment, with more than 40 invited talks from distinguished speakers in the fields of biosafety research and risk assessment as well as contributed posters. Dr. Nicholas Kalaitzandonakes presented "Costs of Regulation: Academic Product Versus Multinational" at the Symposium.
