EMAC at the American Agricultural Economics Association Meetings

Dr. Nicholas Kalaitzandonakes and EMAC graduate student Christos Kolympiris represented EMAC at the 2007 American Agricultural Economics Association annual meeting, entitled Applied Economics for Global Issues. This year's meetings were held July 29-August 1 in Portland, Oregon.

Dr. Kalaitzandonakes presented "Entrepreneurship, Psychology, Culture and Networks." In addition, he was a co-author on "Commercialization of Genetically Modified Soybeans in China: Perverse Domestic and International Trade Effects," which was presented by another co-author. Mr. Kolympiris presented research he has done with Drs. Nicholas Kalaitzandonakes and Peter Klein, entitled "Clusters and Entrepreneurship in the US Biotech Industry."
